Talking with Trees
April 26, 12PM- 1PM and
5PM- 6PM, Ages 10+
Edward J. Dryer Conservation Area
In celebration of National Arbor Day, join us for this playful introduction to nature mindfulness/eco-selfcare, where we will each find and connect with our own special tree! Plan to engage ALL of your senses! :-)
Being in nature reduces stress hormones, lowers blood pressure, and literally allows our bodies to release the electric energies that they hold when in highly "wired" spaces. Engaging with nature creates amazing shifts in our physiology, awareness, ability to focus and ability to tune into what we really need and desire. Tune into how nature (and trees) make a difference for you. What to Bring: something to sit on (blanket, yoga mat, raincoat). Waterproof shoes recommended. Water bottle, journal, bug spray optional).
